Hydrated magnesium sulphate known as bitter salt, English salt, epsomite or Epsom salt is a compound having a number of valuable properties.
It is presented as an odorless crystal. It reminds us well of the famous kitchen salt, but in taste the magnesium sulphate is not salty, but bitter. Hence its name - bitter salt. Salt from Epsom was formerly mined in England in Epsom - hence the name.

What is the use of magnesium sulphate at home?
For the health and well-being of family members
1. Bathing

1. Peelings
With magnesium sulphate you can perform very effective peeling - both for the face and the whole body. Peeling works moisturizing, but also antimicrobial, antitumour and helps fight acne.
Body scrub - mix about 2 tablespoons of bitter salt with 4 tablespoons of coconut oil. You can add a few drops of essential oil you like. Scrub all damp body - then rinse.
Face peeling - mix about half a teaspoon of bitter salt with good unrefined oil - eg coconut, argan, almond. You can add a few drops of tea tree oil (works antiseptically). Massage the skin of the face, and after about 2 minutes thoroughly rinse.

Prepare magnesium olive oil - it acts as a moisturizer as well as helps to supplement the magnesium level in the body.
How to make the olive?
Mix evenly water and magnesium sulfate. You will get an oily substance that lubricates the whole body. You will feel smooth and moisturized. Your skin will absorb magnesium ions. If you are bothered with greasy film on the skin - wait a few minutes and then rinse the whole body.
Natural deodorant
Magnesium olive oil can be used as a natural deodorant spray. Be careful not to irritate the delicate and sensitive skin under the arms (spray should not be applied after depilation). Pour the mixture into a bottle with atomizer and apply as a deodorant.

Liquid for washing hands

In pots
