RECIPES WITH BORAX
All of these washing powders can be easily prepared at home!
DIAPER WASHING POWDER
- soda ash
sodium percarbonate
Both ingredients mix in equal proportions (these are the two main ingredients of popular Nappy Fresh washing powder). Do not use soap which makes diapers less absorbent. Use two spoons per washing or as an additive to your regular washing powder. Instead of fabric softeners use vinegar which will help to rinse inserts and diapers. Do not worry - the vinegar scent will quickly disappear. If you want your diapers to smell nice, add a few drops of your favourite essential oil. Lavender and tea tree oil have bactericidal properties.
